This world just keeps getting smaller and smaller!!

I've been in school for just over three weeks now...or has it only been three weeks?? Anyway in such a short time I have met:
-a kid that I went to Sunday school with when my dad was a pastor at Southview Alliance church when I was like five (also if you google Southview Alliance, I come up! So weird)
-a girl who went to camp with my friend Denae Stegeman that I met this summer. We worked together and had some pretty incredible times.

-Then I met someone who knew my friend Josh Golding, a good friend from Africa. They went to youth group together in Vernon, BC. Oh and another girl who knew my friend Joanna Greene--also from Africa.

-and then another girl worked at camp with my friend Melissa Weiss who I went to high school in Three Hills with, until she transferred to Prairie, but then we worked together this summer as well. And now she's in Calgary going to Rocky Mountain. I ran into her the other day up in Brentwood, randomly, on my way to the Labour Day Classic

-and then last night I went out to Boston Pizza with Woody and Matt and Heather and Emily and this girl named Leanne. So Leanne and I were walking together and she told me about how she'd spent some time in South Africa and Lesotho and places like this last year and I of course I was totally into this being from Africa and all. And we discovered we both have hearts for Rwanda. Anyway, in this conversation she mentioned that one of her really good friends grew up in Mali and Cote d'Ivoire and since we are of similar age I deduced (big word, I know) that there was no way that I didn't know this person so I asked and lo and behold her friend was one of my really good friends in middle school. We liked the same boy, he liked her. But despite that, we were very good friends. She's the one on the left, oh no, that's right... sorry sometimes i get confused. Our science teacher, Mrs. Pietersen always got us confused... i'm not really sure why.

Anyhow, now that I've shared that story with you, I'm going on blogging sebaticle because it is far too distracting and I have a paper to write. Have a lovely weekend!
